In chapter 12, we finally see Afour begin to live out in the present which he still thinks is the 18th century. But in this part of chapter 12, The Richordsons are at the hospital hoping to find a solution to Charles’s mysterious faints, unfortunately tension builds up and Angella’s confusion causes her to lose control over her usual self.
In London, Professor Amber is impressed by the ideas of time travel and how it could’ve foreseen the arrival of Afour, all he needs to do is see how true it might be.
