Thank y’all for being so very patient for this update! This scene ended up waaay bigger than anticipated, and a lot of life stuff happened to me through February and March that slowed me down a bit. But I’m happy to say it’s finally here! And that it concludes Act I: Spring. It’s sort of a happy accident that I ended up finishing it in the season it was meant to take place in. I hope you’ve enjoyed it thus far.
I have an announcement: I’m going to go on hiatus for a month or two! I need some time to plan out Act II with more detail. Additionally, I need to step away from the comic for a bit. I recently acquired a new studio space, and I’m excited to get back into more physical art again. But don’t fret! My audacious plague doctor and his cohorts are always on my mind. I’m thinking about doing a Q&A, or making a few short, black and white “interlude” comics in between acts. If you do have questions, feel free to leave em in the comments below!
"I now have time for your sudden skepticism” fantastic line! Intriguing concept and I love the way you draw and shade and just all the detail!! It flows so impressively well! I love this and you and your work in absolutely incredible I can’t wait to read this to the end!
Take as much time as you need, I cannot wait for your return. I know it’ll be amazing!
Corvus Kestrel is a renowned doctor, with a passion for the arcane arts. Though he has many talents, he has one ultimate goal: find the cure to "The Stain," a necromantic disease that has wrought havoc upon the continent of Endeamon for centuries.
As the third wave of this deadly plague encroaches upon his home, the doctor happens upon a mysterious scroll that may unlock the secret to the cure; a key that lies hidden in a powerful ritual.
But as nature must balance itself, so must magic, and some secrets come at a terrible price.
When swearing to "do no harm" comes at the cost of saving lives, can the doctor keep his promise?
