One kilometer deep in the forests behind Hendrik's tower the following day.

'Sniff-Sniff' Seraph examined her surroundings of a lush jungle brimming with wildlife and vegetation as far as sight could behold the little furball. But she didn't see the wildlife as something to cherish the presence of; what she saw was considered-

'Experiments! Oooh I can't wait to test out my magic on you poor things.' Seraph now has a devilish grin as she thinks of all the possibilities. During this, her right eye flashes red for a moment.

Inquisition Headquarters, Unknown location.

In this facility was a version of concrete tiled floors with black metal beams going through in a cross pattern. The walls were made of the same concrete substance; however, the metal beams were in an X pattern. There were no separate carved-out rooms; instead, there were floating doors that stretched down the bland darkening hallway by the hundreds.

In particular, the one we're looking at is the entrance to the communications department. It is filled with wires covering the ceiling, junction boxes that seem to have many wires connected to them, and a crystal emblem engraved inside the desk portion of the junction box. Currently, a scary-looking Queen was staring down at an Inquisitor through a blue hologram.

"Well, what do you have? I've been anxiously waiting for the past 48 hours for a demon lord to come from that damned pillar." The Queen is annoyed, to say the least. Usually her Inquisitors work faster than this, however, avoiding the detection of the Druid wasn't helping the time-sensitive mission.

"My Queen, currently, we've found the creature that caused the event. However, we were too late to acquire it. An Adventurer by the name of Hendrikson had formed a Familiars pact with the creature. Right now, we have the Familiar alone in the woods, currently hunting down other animals for unknown reasons. On your orders, we can acquire and capture the target to bring back to the HQ." The one speaking was Lieutenant Kiebor. He wears a flak jacket with Bright Orange stripes going down his right arm, signifying he's of the Seekers.

"Do it then, and quickly. I don't need to get an adventurer involved, but I don't want witnesses if they get in the way. This creature is a matter of our nation's security and therefore Your top priority Seeker." She vanished from the junction box, leaving the Inquisitor in the poorly lit room.

Back in the forest, Seraph decided to do experiments on.

Seraph would sit on top of a tree limb, staring down on hundreds of dead animals. Part of the landscape was also destroyed beyond recovery.

'Hmmm, so I can manipulate my magic types too, however I see fit. However, one does things better than the other. The darkness magic I have is slow and potent, making it good for heavy-hitting. I'm also good at cleaning impurities, so I'll have to look into it more. The light magic I have indeed heals wounds, but if amplified to a certain temperature or frequency, it can easily turn into a blade and even fast projectiles. The only problem I have is I don't know how much is too much with these rudimentary spells I'm casting freely. I need more information on the higher forms of magic in this world before I attempt something stupid.' Seraph would groom her right paw, which had a little blood on it. After cleaning it, she sent down a magic spell on the many dead bodies, which engulfed them into the shadows.

She'd watch this event unfold until she heard a noise behind herself. She promptly jumped to the next tree branch while twirling in the air to catch a glimpse of what was trying to sneak behind herself. But in a short realization she just jumped straight into her assailant.

The Inquisitor in front of Seraph casts a paralysis spell against her forehead. Her body became limp and plummeted to the ground.

"By order of the Inquisition, you are hereby detained until we assess the threat level you're at. Be obedient and offer no resistance or face termination of your existence."  The Inquisitor had a short sword unsheathed. Its blade was Blue in tint, the guard was golden with two rubies on either end, and a two-handed handle ending with a mini flail filled with fire.

Seraph did not like her options at the moment, and her thoughts were racing at full speed to figure out a solution to the predicament she found herself in.

Seraph was thinking of her situation carefully. She attempted to move her body, but it felt numb all over, which gave her an idea. A horrible one but was better than nothing.

She focused her darkness magic on her nervous system to give her whole body a jolt of pain while the white light flowed around her entire body, ready to heal at a moment's notice.

In the inquisitor's eyes, only a few seconds passed from his speech until the fox creature in front of him started to have shadows and light dance around it. Instinctively he backs up, having his sword at the ready for combat.

The shadows explode outward, creating a black miasma of dark magic with a pained shriek behind it. The lights spread out and bounced around inside the miasma, acting like beacons that emitted a low beep every time they hit the edges of the expanding darkness. What caught the attention of the Inquisitor was the single glowing red eye that pierced through the miasma, sending shivers down his spine. Though it was a small creature, its intent to kill the inquisitor was on par with the fury of a red dragon.

'Dammit all that hurt like hell! I can't wait to give you a taste of that pain!' Seraph waved her right paw forward. Several of the lights inside the miasma collected the dark magic inside a javelin-shaped white light, causing an effect of the magic looking solid. Once collected, the javelins shoot towards the Inquisitor, causing him to flee from his original position.

'This is bad; I can't underestimate this creature. Just a few more steps, and this will be over.' The Inquisitor was not afraid of the situation, for he made a backup plan in case things didn't go his way. However, his backup plan fell on top of him, quite literally.

While some of the javelins were indeed targeting the Inquisitor, the spell was flawed to attack anything living near it. And for the four unsuspecting inquisitors, they get impaled through their hearts and skulls from at least three different angles. The light kept its shape however, the dark miasma inside dispersed inside their bodies, causing them to rot from the inside out, not even leaving bones behind.

The inquisitor was horrified at the situation escalating to such a degree all he could do now was run for his life to warn his superiors. However, he fell short when both of his legs were severed from the body. A flash of white light cut through some trees ahead of him as he fell to the ground screaming in pain. The wound was cauterized as soon as it was cut, leaving the smell of cooked flesh in the air for the Inquisitor to endure.

The inquisitor rolls to look at the creature. All he sees is two tails pulsating a red aura while the red-eye is on fire. To say the fear of the devil was imprinted into his psyche would be a crude understatement.

"Wait please, if you d-" A loud clash would resound in the air of the forest. The inquisitor's head fell off the limp body.

'Don't think you get to live after pissing me the hell off like that.' Seraph walks next to the corpse of the inquisitor and marks her territory before hopping back towards the Druid's house, the red aura and eye she had previously faded away from the more she hopped.
