Rose has dealt with Lucius and tries to find her way through the woods he took her to be buried at. The cloud of rage clears. The rain stops. Now, she realizes she is wounded, weak, and needs to find somewhere safe. Off in the distance, she sees a cross. A church, her one hope. She heads there, hoping someone will help her, and they did...

Author's note: Hello! It's TJB here. This is the end of the prologue- "Black Rose: The Budding of a Rose." It was pretty difficult getting started on this comic. It is my first comic published online, so this is very new. I was apprehensive, seeing all these pretty, big, published comics on Tapas. I wondered, " Should I even be on here?" Lol. But I closed my eyes and pushed the publish button. I was worried about the quality and other things, but its only so much one person can do right? I've learned a lot with this short comic. And I will do better for future comics to come. Thank you to those who have checked out this comic, I hope I can see you again! ♥
