In this part of chapter 12, Afour experiences his first peaceful walk in one of Portsmouth’s lively streets with Aya, Ania & Maria. The truth of him not being in the 18 century is being kept well so far but as Ania gets a call from her Mom, the truth becomes even more challenging to hide, for just long enough until they find the right moment to inform Afour. But that guy’s appearance might spell trouble, why is he here and why is he in uniform?
