“Ugh! Why do we have to wake up so early?” Rayn said with a sigh while flying next to Carina and Esme.

“I know right? I only got about five hours of sleep last night! I was up most of the night doing homework!” Esme exclaimed, clearly exhausted.

Carina stopped for a moment and noticed a girl with tan skin and black hair in a big long braid down her back. She wore a forest green sweater and ripped blue jeans with brown sandals. The girl also wore an old brown backpack with rips.

Carina then walked over to the girl with her friends falling close behind.

“Hello, can I help you?” Carina asked with a friendly smile.

“Oh hello,” The girl said in a sweet voice, kind of startled. “I’m new here. I got lost. Do you know where the room…” She then looked down at a paper in her hands and looked back up. “302 is?”

“Yes, we are on our way to that class right now. Why don’t you join us? By the way, I’m Carina,” Carina said with a warm smile.

“Nice to meet you, Carina,” The girl said with a smile. “Thank you for letting me tag along and showing me the way.”

“It’s no problem,” Carina said, still smiling. “Oh! These are my friends.” Carina gestured towards Esme and Rayn.

“I’m Esme,” Esme said with a big friendly smile.

“And I’m Rayn,” Rayn said with a smile.

“Nice to meet you Rayn and Esme,” The girl said. “I’m Payton.”

“Nice to meet you, Payton,” Carina, Esme, and Rayn said at the same time. They all laughed.

“By the way, Mrs. Blink is really nice as long as you don’t get on her bad side,” Carina said, reassuringly.

“We don’t get much homework either. You actually came at the perfect time. We just took a test, so today we are going to learn something new. You can learn with us!” Esme said, happily.

“That’s a relief,” Payton said with a sigh.

They all laughed.

“Oh guess what guys?” Esme said, excitedly.

“What?” Carina and Rayn said in unison.

“Aydan just transferred to our class. He had a weird class change and now he’s in more of my classes!” Esme smiled. Her eyes seemed to glow from happiness.

“That’s awesome! Now you can spend more time with him,” Rayn said smiling.

“I know!” Esme exclaimed.

They then walked into the classroom.

They took their normal seats while Payton stood by Mrs. Blink’s desk.

“Oh. You must be Payton!” Mrs Blink said with a smile. “I’m Mrs. Blink and I’m happy to have you in my class. You can sit in front of Anemos. Anemos, please raise your hand.”

Anemos hand raised and Payton seemed to blush at the mention of his name.

Payton then went to sit in front of Anemos. As soon as she sat down Anemos said, “Hey, Pay. Looks like we have a class together after all.” Anemos then shot Payton a smile. He was blushing a little.

“Looks like it,” Payton agreed.

Aydan then flew into the room and Mrs. Blink said, “Hello, Aydan. You can sit in your regular seat since no one sits there.”

Aydan flew over to where Esme was sitting and plopped down in the seat in front of her. He then turned around.

“Hey, Es,” Aydan said, blushing, with a huge smile.

“Hey, Aydan,” Esme said, blushing.

“How’d you sleep?” Aydan asked.

“Pretty good. The party wore me out on Saturday so I mostly just hung out around my house on Sunday. I did work on my garden though,” Esme said.

“That sounds fun. I just hung out yesterday too. I just sat in bed and watched some TV on my phone,” Aydan said. “And of course text you.” Aydan’s blush deepened and so did Esme’s.

Carina looked at Rayn who was sitting next to her.

“All these lovebirds are killing me and soon you’re gonna be one of them,” Carina said jokingly.

“I would say that…,” Rayn started.

“What do you mean?” Carina asked.

“Damian’s schedule got switched around too and now he has more classes with me,” Rayn admitted.

Just then Damian walked in.

“Damian, you are just in time for class. You can sit in your usual seat,” Mrs. Blink said with a smile.

Damian then flew over and sat next to Rayn.

“Mornin’ Ray,” Damian said, blushing, with a smile.

“Mornin’ Dame,” Rayn smiled. She began blushing too.

A little while later, Mrs. Blink cleared her throat, getting everyone’s attention.

“Class, we have a few new students in class today that were already in one of my other classes but got switched, anyway that’s not important. What’s important is that we are actually getting the first Anti-Cupid in our class!” Mrs. Blink looked really excited.

The whole class gasped except for Carina and her friends.

“I wonder who it could be. Maybe, Ivan? No. Ivan said he went to Anti-Cupid Academy,” Carina thought to herself.

Just then the door opened and a boy with black shaggy hair and caramel skin walked into the room. He wore a black chiton with a silver belt around his waist.

“Ivan!” Carina thought to herself surprised. She put her hand over her mouth.
