She realised there was some noises coming from beneath her: downstairs.

She imagined Ebony wasnt even asleep; just closing her eyes to try and and find a dream to bring along so she could finally close her tired eyes.

Noah nudged her.

She rapidly got up, bags hanging under her eyes.

Ebony was about to question why in the world had she 'woken her up' at this time, but a sound from downstairs had made her think otherwise.

She immediently understood.

They rushed to follow eachother down the steep stairs.

The scene was a thousand times worse than they had expected

A whole layer of clear rainwater layed amongst the wooden floorboards.

The dogs were almost fainting of the tiredness, a tall stranger stood in the house,EVERYTHING WAS A TOTAL DISASTER! 

And to make it worse, Ebony's mom's brand new carpet (that she'd bought yesterday) was completely filled with water,soaked and ruined.

Plus Ebony's mom was GONE!

she had left a yellow post it note saying she would be at a hotel across the country..

The tall,strange man stared aat them and disapeared with the wind.

What was all of this madness in their house at the moment?

The water was draining quickly, and as it it did, the two young girls rushed downstairs to help their poor dogs.

They had all decided that it would be best if they all sorted this mad house out in the morning.
