I sat at my desk, going over the files again. My husband would be fine, no one would dare enter the detectives house that was investigating them. It is practically a suicide run. I opened the drawer of my desk, taking out the walkman and CD. I put on the headphones and pressed play, listening to the rest of it. Once it started talking in what I assumed was french I stopped it. I took out the CD, putting it into my computer and running a translate program.
"Hello, my love. It has been a long time, you know not who I am, but I know you. Mi amour, I want to claim you, to make you mine, and I shall, do not be scared, I will not hurt you, I promise, you are my love, my life, my soul. I do everything for you, I have done it all for you."
I glared at the screen, pulling out Chris' folder I flipped through it. I stopped on the page that had the accident. The explosion. I had statements from the therapist Chris saw, clippings from the news paper, statements from other students, doctors, and things Chris told me. I had met him shortly after I got my job, and getting such information was quite easy.

Chris came into the office today, and told me more about the accident. He was walking to class, taking a different path than normal, when the explosion happened. His boyfriend at the time was pressumed dead. I believe he is dealing with depression, and Post Tramatic Stress Disorder, if he continues to see me, I believe I can help him over come this, without the needs of medication.

Statements from students. -"I never would have seen it coming, Chris and I walked to class most days, but he went to meet another friend in a totally different building, I know he took Jas's death hard, they were so in love..." ; friend
-"Christopher was never late to class, he always left the dorms earlier than the others, I think it was just chance, no one knows what was going on in the labs there, kids were always studing, doing experiments..." ; teacher
Statements from Christopher
-"I walked to class, took a different route than normal...I hadn't even seen Jasper that morning...I didn't get to tell him I love him...at least we weren't fighting..."
"I have done it all for you" I read aloud. It had to be him, although he was pressumed dead, there was no body found for Jasper. So he could very well be alive...it would make sense why he targeted Chris, if he was behind it all, all the murders. After all, Chris didn't fit with the other victims, he wasn't a disloyal whore like the others. This mean't Jasper knew where I lived, I needed to make sure Chris didn't learn his ex was alive, he would try to find Jasper. Of course, Jasper could always find him first.
I frowned, 'not that it mattered if he was taken, I have a tracker so I will know'. I took out my phone, checking to see where he was, "odd" I muttered, the screen showed his phone was home, but his ring, was streets away. I looked up the address, to find who lives there. "No results" my computer glared at me, seeming to be testing my patience. I stood up, grabbing my phone and going to my car.

-strong themes with mentions of rape, murder, non-consensual stuff-
The love of Christopher's life had left many years ago. After they had been together for years. And Chris believed his lover to be dead, he came back. Only now, he was wanted for murder, kidnapping, and rape. He was being investigated by the detective, Lucas, Chris' husband.
