It is now summer, and I can crawl! I'm now 6 months old. I can finally go outside. I didn't know because I haven’t been outside my room before, but my house is huge. I think my parents are rich. There is also very little technology. The people here have lamps, but nothing else. That is because some people can wield magic in this world. I can’t by the way. Such a disappointment. 

I also have a neighbour. They have a son one year older than me. My parents thought that it would be a good idea to let him play with me. I have no interest in playing with children. I'm mentally 16, okay?! The boy is cute though. He has such an innocent smile too. My parents are worried because I don’t smile, cry or make sounds. But that doesn’t concern me right now, because this neighbour boy over here tries to eat my hair. 

I see my mother running towards me, with a worried look on her face. Is she going to save me from this kid? My head suddenly started to feel hot. Is it because he is touching my head? I touch my head and look back at my hand. Blood. Ah, so this is why my mother is running towards me. Apparently, this neighbour kid succeeded in grabbing some of my precious new-born hair. Why don’t I feel any pain? Is this one of my animal characteristics or am I just weird?
