Murphy began to charge down the hall along with the other boys before coming upon a large field that was enriched in a brilliant jade color, however it almost looked like a circuit board, as if the boys were the nodes of that board. Footballs, basketballs, whatever kind of sports ball you could name were either in the air or scraping the needles of grass. There was, however, an eye of this storm. A beautifully designed hut (that had somehow not sustained any level of noticeable damage) in what was supposed to be the place where students uninterested in sport or were in pain or for whatever reason imaginable for being there just chilled. Murphy could see Huey and Ren chatting in that place. He walked over there in a stiff motion, as if he was a piece of cold, rigid plastic.
"Hi-" he said cheerily but went completely silent when a high-flying football had been kicked carelessly and hit his stomach. Murphy fell to the ground, which felt like he was hitting a snare drum violently.
The ball then rolled towards what only seemed like legs. A gust of air came by like a blizzard, with leaves flying into his hair. Ren had gotten up to go and help Murphy and was half-dragging him over to Huey, who was holding an ice pack. The three of them entered the hut, trying not to drop Murphy on the floor.
The hut was massive, but so massive that massive wouldn't be the right word to describe it, nor any other word in the English langauge. All three of them sat down, with a slight uncomfortable feeling rising in the room.
Breaktime is in session! Looks like there was an accident on the field, too!
Context for non-UK readers:
- The sport terminology "football" is used, however it doesn't refer to American Football in any form, but rather what is referred to as a soccer ball in other places besides here.
Content Warnings:
- While a minor accident did take place, I would personally say it doesn't require a content warning as nothing extreme or disturbing is mentioned.
