"Ow!" I said falling to the ground.

"What?!" Fond was utterly shock to no surprise, after all I knew this would be the case.

"Who the hell is at my door?!" Said by the woman who look to be around her 60's with silver hair, a scar on her face, slightly muscular and shown with wrinkles.

"It's me you old hag!" I yell covering my cheek.

Suddenly my dog Jack came running out licking my face.

(A dog?!) Thoughts form by Fond.

"Norveil I taught you better than this! You should know when to dodge a fist coming your way!" My mother had let out while raising her iron knuckles.

"Grrr! That still doesn't explain the fact why the first thing you do is punch someone who arrives at your front door!" I said blood boiling and adrenaline raised, scaring off my dog Jack from me.

"Quiet! I was testing you! Of course I wouldn't punch the first person who comes knocking on here!" My mother spit on the ground soon after away.

"Ah……"

Fond said while Jack hid behind her.

"Seriously old bag, we shouldn't keep doing this!"

"Silence!" 

If Fond couldn't tell, me and my mother didn't exactly have your usual mother and daughter relationship, she was rough and chaotic, but If it wasn't clear enough this woman was a bitch.

"Norvell? What's going on?" Fond shiver as she cautiously spoke, hoping my mother wouldn't attack her as well by chance.

"Fond this is Mana Costello aka my mother." I said as I point towards her while getting back up 

"I see." She realize feeling awkward about the ordeal.

"Hold on one blast second!" Said by my mother as she quickly rush over to me and grab me, turning us away from Fond's gaze.

"You little devil, don't tell me my good for nothing daughter finally scor herself a man! Wait! Is it that bum Jonas's by any chance?"

This woman was unbelievable, it's no wonder we hardly got along.

"No mom, she's not mine biological but I have taken her in." 

"Goodness, and why all of a sudden? Did you realize you were going to die alone someday at the rate you were going?" My mother raised her eyebrow at me as she said that.

(This old bitch!) "No mom! I happen to save her life and give her a place to stay so she wouldn't be alone out in the city!" I lost a bit of my temper as I said that.

"Oh, such a good girl, I had no idea you had done that."

My mother's demeanor suddenly change.

"Well yeah, didn't you of all people tell me to do the right thing?" I said feeling slightly weird all of a sudden.

"Um Norveil?" Fond was still in the back feeling awkward while Jack look up at her standing idly by.

"Right let's not keep her waiting daughter of mine." Said by my mother as she turn us both around back at Fond.

"Forgive us for that deary I feel we start this all out wrong because of me, allow me to reintroduce myself. I'm Norveil's mother Mana and this is our dog Jack! It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance." As mother explain Jack had bark also introducing himself.

"Right you too, I'm Fond Careydell please to meet you." Fond had bow as she said that.

"My." (So polite!) Thoughts form by Mana.

"Anyway, Are you going to let us inside?" I said.

"Oh right! Come on in everyone I'll make us something!"

Said by Mana as she open the door wide open for everyone.

Moments later The three of us along with Jack were all together in the living room talking, my mother went on and on about how I was when I was younger and how she did all the raising and what not.

"And that's why I told Norveil to cut her hair short!" My mother explain while feeling proud of herself not realizing that I completely hat the idea.

"Norveil had short hair?!" Fond also had look totally hook just thinking about it.

"I hat every second of it." Said by me as I place my hand over my face.

"Don't be like that Norveil, sure it wasn't popular with the boys but it did protect you from getting grab by an Anarch." 

"How thoughtful." I said with sarcasm.

"You know Norveil You should be damn grateful for what I've done for you!" My mother express losing her temper.

"Oh yeah really?! Because last I check my time with you was completely miserable!" I yell back.

"Grrr! Why you rude and spiteful little girl!"

"I'm a grown woman!" I stated.

"Not in this house you're not! You will always be my good for nothing little daughter regardless of your status as of now!" That was so like my mother always controlling.

"Screw you!" As I said this Fond suddenly stood up.

"Hey you two! Stop fighting now!"

"..." My mother and I remain silent once we saw her get angry herself.

"My I guess we aren't the only ones with a temper." My mother said feeling utterly stunned.

"Sorry Fond, we didn't mean too--"

"It does it matter, Someone has to keep you both in check, that'll be my job, right Jack?"

"Bark!" Jack bark agreeing with her.

"Alright, alright." (This girl is something else, I know what to do for this moment!) "Hey want to see some pictures?" As my mother said that to Fond, she grab out a bucket full of pictures.

"Pictures?!" Fond excitement was too obvious to the point where it was hard to ignore.

"Mom no!" I yell seeking total mercy.

After that little scuffle it was time to get going after staying for 2 hours.
