Chapter 9 SC Duo (2/7)

“Dammit! Chimera the damn animal’s not dead, you can fuse again right!?”

“Are you blind, I’m holding its heart.” The snake man charges in and falls to the floor, his feet get dislocated and are flung at Jujo’s knees, Jujo falls over and the snake man gets back up and gets its fangs ready. He inserts the fangs into Jujo’s right arm poisoning him, but Jujo sticks his hand into its eye sockets and rips its eyes out…

Meanwhile above ground Avie was submitted to the hospital, and Hermes was by himself on a bridge. Suddenly a massive ball of water surrounded him and brought him underwater, after a while of struggling he was in an underwater cave and a voice rang out

“My liege Jormungand told me to come and get you after you killed that lowly scout.”

“So you’re a snake, what’s your rank?”

“Disciple #13”

“I see so it’s possible to kill you. Since I can't see you I’d suppose you have an ability to do with water, so we gotta get that out of the equation. Lightning magic:magic field.” lightning touched every corner of the cave and a massive cobra came out and tried to bite him, but he kicked it across the cove, only for it to disappear into water. Then a spear of water appeared behind him and as he dodged it the cobra jumped out of the water and bit his face, but he channeled lightning magic through his cheek neutralizing the venom.

“Damn you Hermes! I didn’t want to use this but…” Suddenly thousands of lines of water crossed across the room, the cobra came out and went back in the motion lasted around 0.02 seconds. The  cobra whacked Hermes in the face 2,703 times before he could get off a lightning spell electrifying the entire cove.

“Where did its corpse go?”

“Idiot! There is water in your body! Kill yourself to kill me!”

“Actually I have a better idea, so thank god we’re underground. Eaitrich Inferno Mode!” suddenly everywhere set on fire and the cobra was flung out of Hermes’ body, “Inferno arrow!” He made a bow and arrow out of flames and fired at the cobra, hitting it in the heart…
