The Seven Sins Series

Craving Purity C6

Craving Purity C6

May 19, 2022

Greyson got a call from Kayden as he was working and rushed home when he was told that Levi ran away and Elijah had locked the door to their room, refusing to let anyone in.

He went way above the speed limit, but if any cops pulled him over, he could use his power of persuasion to get them to leave him alone so he could get to Elijah. It had been a long time since Elijah had broken down and had a fit, but from the sounds of it he was deep in one of his spells and wouldn't be able to compose himself.

Greyson sprinted through the mansion to his and Elijah's room, but the door was locked.

"Baby, it's me," Greyson called through the door, his heart shattering as he heard Elijah sobbing on the other side of the door. "I need you to open the door for me, Elijah."

"No!" Elijah screamed, and Greyson heard the mirror in their room shatter and a thump as Elijah fell to the ground and cried even harder. "Go away!"

Greyson knew he couldn't use any powers on Elijah. They wouldn't work as well as they would on humans and he would never try to control his beloved. He needed to use words to get through to him or else he wouldn't be getting in the room.

"Elijah, please," Greyson pleaded, sliding to the floor and leaning against the door. "I know you're hurting, but I need you to open the door so I can talk to you, love."

Greyson sighed in relief when he heard shuffling and felt the door when Elijah leaned against the other side of the door.

"P-Promise you won't h-h-hate me for scaring him away?" Elijah asked weakly, stuttering as he continued his sobbing.

"I promise," Greyson said. "I could never hate you, E."

Elijah's movements could be heard from behind the door and the lock clicked. Once it was unlocked, Greyson shoved the door open and rushed into the room, only to stop and stare in horror.

The entire room had been destroyed; the dresser was on its side with clothes thrown everywhere, the mirror was shattered, and the desk in the corner of the room had the drawers torn out, leaving the ground covered in books and papers from the desk drawers.

Greyson was shocked.

If there was one thing that Elijah was, it was organized. He loved when everything was in place and hated how disorganized Greyson's office was, so he often spent time cleaning up his office and putting everything in its place.

It took a lot for Elijah to make a mess, so he had to have reached a breaking point in order to turn against his instinct to organize and destroy his safe space.

"Elijah..." Greyson breathed as Elijah curled up in the corner of the room beside the bed, crying into his knees. "Baby..."

"Just go," Elijah said, choking out a sob and wiping his mouth with the back of his hand. "I'm disgusting."

Greyson knelt in front of him and lifted Elijah up, the latter wrapping his legs around Greyson's waist, burying his face in his shoulder.

"You're not disgusting, love," Greyson promised, rubbing his back. "Can you take a deep breath and tell me why you're so upset?"

Elijah started crying again, wetting a spot on Greyson's shirt with his tears. "I made Levi hate me!" he sobbed, clinging onto Greyson as tight as he could. "He thinks I'm an insane rapist and that I'm going to take advantage of him. I know I'm a sin and that I'm bad, but I'm not a rapist! I'd never hurt my soulmate but he wouldn't listen and ran away."

Greyson sat down on the bed, the only part of the room that hadn't been completely destroyed. He rested his back against the pillows with Elijah laying on top of him, still crying into his shoulder.

"He's just scared, E," Greyson said, rubbing his back. "We did take him away last night and I'll bet he doesn't remember anything."

Elijah whimpered. "I told him he was our soulmate and he ran off. He doesn't want me," he managed to say through sobs, shaking the whole time. "Y-You should get rid of me and just take him."

Greyson scoffed. "And let you come after me because your demon side comes out and murders us both for making you jealous?" he asked, making Elijah let out a tiny laugh. "Besides, I'm Greed. I want both of you to myself."

Elijah gasped when he felt Greyson playfully smack his ass. "I... I can't do that. Not knowing that we have a third soulmate," he said in shame.

Greyson understood what he meant. "I know," he whispered, kissing the side of Elijah's forehead. "I think Lexi is making lunch. Do you want to go eat?"

Nodding, Elijah slid off of Greyson and pulled on a black hoodie, making sure to pull the hood over his face. He stomped out to the kitchen and sat on one of the bar stools, hanging his head so Lexi, also known as Lust, wouldn't see his tears.

Lexi was probably the prettiest one of the sins, in Elijah's opinion, which often left him envious of Lexi's perfect hair and skin. He was an exotic dancer, not because he needed money, but because he loved watching men drool over him while he stripped but refused to show everything.

"That you, E?" Lexi asked, climbing up on the counter and laying across it, so his face was right in front of Elijah's, should he choose to look up. "You're not looking very pretty today. That sweatshirt does not match your complexion, darling."

Elijah, irritated by his fellow sin, shoved him off the counter, watching Lexi barely catch himself in the fall.

"Don't you dare cause me bruises, Envy," Lexi snarled, standing up and rushing over to the fridge to fix his hair. "I have work tonight, unlike you."

"I choose not to work, because unlike you, I don't only value my body," Elijah snapped back, ready to fight with Lexi should he be pushed over the edge.

Lexi laughed. "Cute. You say all I do is value my body, when I know damn well that you're jealous of it," he said, smirking evilly. "Even without the bond my body could please Greed more than yours ever could."

Elijah leapt over the counter and tackled Lexi to the ground.

The sins were all demons, and while they weren't Satan himself, they all had enhanced abilities. All of them had the ability to seduce and persuade humans with weaker minds, and they were stronger than humans.

Along with that, they all had their own special abilities that were specific to the sin they were.

Elijah's special power was that he could make individuals insecure and doubt themselves. It was harder to use on other sins, but he was trying as hard as he could to pull the confidence away from Lexi.

No one got to talk sexually about his soulmate except for Elijah himself.

"Trying to make me lose confidence?" Lexi asked, trying to tease Elijah even though there was fear in his eyes. "So sad that it's your job to make everyone jealous and lose self confidence when the only one feeling that way is you."

Greyson entered the room and rushed over to the two, ripping Elijah off of Lexi. An immediate wave of self hatred and jealousy coursed through Greyson's body, and he realized that Elijah was trying to use his abilities on Lexi.

"Elijah, love, relax," Greyson whispered, setting Elijah on the counter and coaching him through breathing exercises so he could calm down. "Don't let him get to you."

Lexi got up and brushed himself off, sauntering over to Greyson. "What, no comfort for me?" he asked, trying to use his seductive abilities to piss off Elijah even further.

Before Elijah could say anything, Greyson glared at Lexi, towering over the lustful being and making him back away.

"Have some respect, Lex," Greyson ordered, his muscular frame intimidating Lexi. "We're all sins, and we're all close enough that we should be supporting each other. So don't go using your powers on me because you're mad at my soulmate who's already hurting!"

Lexi held up his hands, hanging his head. He didn't apologize, but it showed in his face that he felt remorse.

Greyson instructed Elijah to go take a shower and told him he'd bring him lunch when he finished. He then began to cook Elijah's favorite meal: breakfast.

Lexi hopped on the counter while Greyson mixed pancake batter and added chocolate chips to it.

"Why's he so upset?" Lexi asked, stealing the bag of chocolate chips and popping them into his mouth. "Haven't seen him like that in a long time."

Greyson turned on the stove and set a circular griddle over the flame. "We found our soulmate," he said, turning to find Lexi's jaw dropped. "Turns out we're soulmates and we have another. He's a human and we brought him back here last night because he was really drunk and he accused Elijah of horrible things and ran away, so E feels like he's a failure and that he ruined our chances with our beloved."

"That is not at all the answer I expected," Lexi said, hopping off the counter. "I think you should take him out tomorrow, clear his mind."

Greyson raised an eyebrow as he flipped his happy face pancake that he made to cheer up Elijah.

"What do you have in mind?"

Lexi grinned. "Come to my show," he said, grabbing the orange juice from the fridge and pouring a large glass for Elijah. "It's going to be really hot. Might get you laid."

"He can't have sex without Levi," Greyson said, placing the orange juice on a tray with his pancakes. "And I can't either. It just feels like something's missing now that we know that he exists."

Lexi frowned, rushing out the vast garden he planted in the yard and grabbing a red rose, placing it on the table tray. "At least go to drink and dance. We all know how much Elijah likes to show off his cute little body, so maybe it'll be a way to help him let loose," he said, winking at Greyson. "Maybe your human will be there."

Greyson narrowed his eyes. "What's that supposed to mean, Lex?"

Lexi just smiled. "It means I'm going to be gone all day tomorrow, working my magic."
