Prologue

Welcome to my comic, tentatively titled Growing Up, and Getting Out. At the time of this upload, I'm currently working on it from a finished script, with the intention of finishing it as a full graphic novel.
So far, I've finished drawing the prologue and 8 chapters. I'll post chapters as I finish them, but let me know if you'd like partial-chapter updates too, which would be more frequent. : )

Omg I'm sorry for that experience. I haven't experienced something like this myself but I was in proximity to it. I was volunteering at an elementary school and I was briefly helping one of the kids who wasn't feeling well that day but their own teacher assured me that they were just playing around. It's disturbing and gross that someone you'd know and love dismiss genuine pain like that.
