"Oh thanks" "No problem". 

 

They spend the rest of the morning and afternoon like this talking, messing and having a good time now it's currently evening, time for dinner. 

"Meili I am going to head to my room to freshen up before dinner" "Oh yes good idea I need to as well" "I'll meet you there Kun".  I rush off to my room to get ready for dinner. When I reach my room I see my maid putting away dresses, brand new ones. These dresses made from the purest of silk and encrusted with the most precious of jewels. 

"What are these dresses for?" I ask, intrigued. "These dresses are mainly for Imperial events Empress, gifts from your betrothed" the maid tells me. She's  small and young, fifteen at the most. "He wants you to wear one to dinner tonight, as he will be joining you tonight for dinner" I'm surprised at this, no contact for nearly a month and now a dinner? 

"Alright I suppose you will be helping me dress?" "Correct Empress". She gives me one of the biggest grins I have ever seen. It reminds me of Taio, it must show on my face as bows her head " I am truly sorry Empress it was very improper of me to do that". She begins to tremble. "Sorry?" "Why would you be sorry?" "It's just a smile". "Well.. the previous Empress didn't like us looking at her like that so I thought it was the same with you and you looked upset so I thought it upset you". "No I wasn't offended it was just that you reminded me of my little brother he's a year younger than you I think". 

The relief is obvious on her face but she doesn't say anything. "So.." I look to the window " what dress do you think I should wear?" "Are you asking me for advice on what to wear?" "Well yes I am asking you for advice on what to wear". Like moments before her face lights up like a firework on New Years. 

In the end I wear a light purple almost white Hanfu, a light white overcoat, with my hair in a plaited bun secured by diamond and gold pin. My face covered with small bit of light powder to highlight my features and a red green one on my lips to make them stand out. "Oh wow Empress you look like a goddess" my maid looks at me in aw. I can't help but wonder do I look that pretty? 

"I wish I could be as pretty as you Empress". "Thank you you're very pretty yourself you know" "Really?" "Yes one of the most beautiful young girls I have seen". This isn't a lie she is very pretty round hazel eyes, black silky hair, pink lips and to top it all off a beautiful smile.

I look to the window and see the sun is about to go down. " I need to get going now don't I" She nods her reply. Then she opens the door for me and we go down to The Dinning Hall.
