Rose meets the man who brought her into the church, Reverend Alexandre. He asks her about who she was and what happened to her. Her memory of the night before was still fuzzy, but she will tell him. She decides that he is a trustworthy man. It was something about his spirit that allows her to confide in him.

In 1986, Rose experienced death after being slain by a vile vampire. Given another opportunity, she is revived by God as the bold "Black Rose." With her newfound power, The Black Rose embarks on a quest to vanquish the wicked and evil men committing atrocious crimes. She is driven to aid other victims of such heinous acts, all while wrestling her own spiritual warfare. Yet, must she face this fight alone?
