Chapter 10: Waiting for my bias

I was forced by my bias’ coworker, Kudo Shigeru, to amuse him by playing dress-up. 

“Oh! This looks good on you, Kumiko-chan! Maybe you should wear this one!” He excitedly clapped his hands. 

I nodded with a faint smile since I was fed up with changing clothes for the 17th time already.

In my first few trials, I desperately tried to escape the dressing room but with no avail, the clerks held me back by blocking all possible escaping routes. 

“Tch! They probably want me to stay so that he can spurged all the money on me”, I thought while glaring at the staff and at Kudo Shigeru.

I didn’t give up on running away until I changed for the fifth time and was exhausted from all the sprinting, crouching and jumping I had to do in order to escape. 

It was also at the time that my future dad called me. My phone was in my skirt pocket and I rushed to take the call but I was too late! Kudo Shigeru, who was nearer, swiftly took my phone and turned it off. I complained and asked him to give my phone back but he was too stubborn to do so. 

The employees were ordered by him to take me back to the changing room so that I could wear the 6th outfit. I was dragged unhappily to the dressing room until I heard Kudo Shigeru answering a call from my bias on his phone. 

Since I wanted to hear their conversation, I desperately hugged the sofa that was right in front of me. Everyone in the store was perplexed by my action and Kudo Shigeru stared at me like I was an animal in the zoo.

As the workers struggled to take me to the changing room, I overheard my bias’ angry voice. 

I could see that Kudo Shigeru was going to play it cool but Hifumi Tooru was too mad at this situation to do so.

Pretty understandable in my opinion. 

When the call ended I asked smugly to Kudo Shigeru, “So Tooru-san is going to come here, huh?”

Kudo Shigeru was pretty irritated and said “That’s right, so you better go change.”

“Okay~” I let go of the sofa and immediately walked to the dressing room. 

I was pretty happy that my future father was going to pick me up but was soon dejected after changing my clothes for the 15th time. 

Kudo Shigeru was having the time of his life even though he just pissed off his fellow member.

And I tried to resolve things peacefully by complying to his demands. 

I prepared to go out since Kudo Shigeru finally decided on my outfit. I was wearing a gorgeous blue dress with fine embroidery, a pair of beautiful black high heels and a small leather purse. 

I remembered all the practice I took at home wearing high heels and tried to exit the store elegantly. 

Kudo Shigeru, at that time, was just flexing his black card to the cashier and bought all the outfits I wore. He asked a clerk to send the items in his hotel room, along with my school uniform and my school bag. 

“Man, I seriously wish that Tooru-san would hurry and take me out of here”, I thought while Kudo Shigeru offered his arm to me.
