Chapter 12: My bias’ plan
Hifumi Tooru was on the phone asking his manager to pick up my school uniform and my bag. As he was both talking, walking and asking for the valet to bring his car to the hotel’s entrance, he would sometimes glance at me and give me apologetic looks. I, at that time, was just in my fangirl mode and was gushing in my head about how handsome and sexy he looked while he was multitasking with droplets of sweat dripping down his face. Of course, I found him glancing at me out of worry to be extremely cute and I felt slightly bad that I even enjoyed him being sorry for me.
In the car, my bias asked me about everything that happened and I honestly told him the truth. He apologized to me again for making me wait for so long and I told him that it couldn’t be helped since he was at work.
The two of us both discussed what we should tell my mom and we both agreed to not tell her the truth for now.
My future dad still wanted to talk to his members about today’s event before telling my mom and I personally didn’t want my mom to feel any more negatively about the other members. I was also curious about what Kudo Shigeru was planning for today so I asked my bias to share his friends’ words to me later on.
We arrived at home and Hifumi Tooru assured me to not worry about school today and that my mom wouldn’t find out that I missed a day at school. I happily thanked him, since I now had something that I didn’t need to worry about, and out of nowhere, he proposed to me that I change schools.
I was rather confused at his suggestion and he explained to me that I should go to a school where students’ personal information was more protected. I pondered for a while but decided that I wouldn’t transfer yet. I explained to my future dad that I want him and my mom to be official and that I would hate it if they took their time to do all the paperworks for me and eventually delayed their wedding.
My future dad looked nervously at me and told me that they actually planned to send the marriage form the day that we’re going to meet my future grand-parents and that I didn’t need to be considerate anymore.
I was shocked and skeptically asked if they were done with the wedding ceremonial preparation. He then answered me that everything will be decided after meeting his parents and I started becoming nervous since we were going to meet them next week. I realized that all the preparations we have done will be finally over and I began to freak out about my future dad’s coworkers.
Hifumi Tooru quickly understood what I was worried about and now, the matter of what happened today, should never be told to my mother unless we have an acceptable explanation.
