Chapter 17: My bias married my mom!

It wasn’t long before Hifumi Tooru, my mother and I were in front of my future grand-parents’ house. 

I gulped at the sight of the massive gate and nervously looked back at my phone to recite my planned greeting.

My bias led us the way and I soon spotted his parents appearing from the front door.

We all greeted each other and I slightly panicked since it wasn’t going as I thought it would.

My future grand-parents invited us to come in and in a moment, we were all sitting in the living room drinking green tea. 

The talk with them was pretty short. I introduced myself to them and they all complimented me that I looked prettier in real life than in photos. I was extremely shy during the conversation but thankfully enough, my future grand-parents were more focused on my mom and their son so all I pretty much did was eating some snacks and drinking some green tea.

I almost felt sad that I was nervous for nothing.

Nevertheless, my mother and my bias both looked happy so ultimately, I felt more relieved than sad.

The three of us stayed for dinner and immediately after that, we all went to register the marriage between my mom and my bias. 

Now, I could officially call my bias “Dad”.

When we all came home, the three of us talked deeply about what we will do in the future.

My mother and my dad already decided which venue to rent for their wedding ceremony.

The dress, picked by my mom and I, was also almost done.

My parents have already decided on the invitees but they haven’t sent the card invitations yet.

The food was finally decided today and we could finally see the end of our preparations.

As my parents already thought of before, it will be hard for them to have a tranquil honeymoon since my dad is a star, so they decided to just not have one.

I felt that it was such a shame but then I thought that I might also be the reason why they don’t want to go on a honeymoon.

As I felt a bit sad that I might be holding back my parents, Hifumi Tooru presented the idea of me transferring schools to my mother.

My mom was in favor of the proposition and I was now officially going to transfer to a private high school.

Days passed and it was finally the day of the wedding ceremony.

Since it was a small ceremony, only my bias’ parents and my parents’ close friends came.

Of course, all the other members of HELIOS came.

As Kudo Shigeru really regretted his actions and sincerely apologized multiple times to me and my dad, Hifumi Tooru forgave him with the exception that he won’t take me away without his permission.

Asata Hiroshi and Nakatomi Shouta have also, since that day, apologized to my dad and I and we were now on great terms. 

Also, my mom hasn’t found out that I missed school that day and the five of us were stuck at keeping that matter a secret for the rest of our life.

The ceremony ended peacefully and I went to the venue’s garden to enjoy the view.

As I saw no one near the garden, I finally shouted the words that I’ve kept in my mind since the beginning of the ceremony to the sky.

“My bias married my mom!”
