I grew up in a part of New York state called Long Island. I now live on the other side of the country, and there are no Friendly's here, which is disappointing!

I like your storytelling.
This is kind of heartbreaking.. my kids are being raised with a similar religious conservatism that I don't identify with but put on an air of conformity so their father doesn't leave us.. I can only hope they forgive me one day.
