Rai and Annalise stood at the opening of the cave. Both cut into their hands and made marks on the walls inside the cave opening.

"Rai, are you sure this spell will work?" Annalise asked.

"Yes my love I am sure. My family has done things like this for us before in dangerous times." Rai answered. "This spell will last for many years. When the time is right she will be found by people who can protect her."

"Ok. Let's do this, she won't be safe with us." Annalise said. Rai could still see the worry on her face.

"This is just a simple spell to keep things hidden, and a slightly more complex spell to stop time in this space. Everything will be ok." Rai said, the two finished the spells and with heavy hearts ran away from the cave that held their very special child.
