Nonononononnono! How the hell did I get into this situation?? No, no, actually, if I didn’t agree to go to this stupid party, I wouldn’t be in this room full of tension to KILL. Actually, let me begin from the start…

A Couple of hours before the Party… “ Brother, let’s go,” Gou said so excitedly. “ Go where?” I said. “ Shopping, obviously. We need to buy some clothes for the party. We don’t have anything good on us.” Said Gou. He’s being serious. I guess, he wants to give people a good appearance. I guess it wouldn’t hurt to go out. “ Sure. Why not. We haven’t gone shopping in a while.” I said with a smile. The last time we went shopping was with Mom. We didn’t have much time with her ‘cause she was a firefighter, but we were still happy with her. “ I miss her…” I said quietly. “ Hmh, what did you say?” He said. “ Nothing. Just thinking out loud. Anyways, let’s go to town. ” I said. When we arrived in town, we saw many stores and people. A lot of people. Gou was happy that we finally got some time together. So I took him to every store for clothes and let him try everything on. He even forces me to showcase some clothes. Not gotta lie, I did look good in them. But all that went into the drain when the people with the attitude problem number one, came into the store. “ Oh?! Isn’t our little bunny? What are you doing here?” Said Kyo. “ None of your business! Leave. Me. Alone.” I said piss off. “ Aw, don’t be like that. We were just asking a simple question.” Kagami said with a smile.

I was about to slap the guy, but I didn’t expect what was behind him, “ Kaede?” I said with a surprised look. “ What are you doing here? Shouldn’t you be in the Student Council meeting or something?” I said. “What? Am I only allowed to be in the Student Council office?” He said. “No, but I rather you overwork yourself than be here. You're better to me dead than alive.” I said with a serious tone. Looks like I really pissed him off cause he took me by the neck and said: “ Well, well, well, aren’t we a big talker, huh?” Almost couldn’t breathe and Gou slapped his hand away from my neck. “ LEAVE MY BROTHER ALONE!!” He said. “ Why do you always try to ruin everything? He also said with an angry face. The sound of the bell is when someone has come into the store. I could hear the footstep getting closer and closer. I really didn’t expect to see this person today but I’m sure glad I am, It was Loki Harts. “ What do you think you’re doing to MY Yuzu?” He said with a face full of rage. Huh? MY Yuzu? But some kid went and ruined my fun, “ All of you, stop bitching!” Gou said. “ Or like they say in French, “ Pas de chicane dans ma cabane,” He said, with a loud voice. And then he turns to me with a look of “ Come and get him out of this place. Now.” Face. What the hell? Why should I do that? But he didn’t let up at all. “ What a pain in the ass,” I said. “ Fine, I’ll do it. You come here.” I said. I took him by the neck of his shirt and dragged him out of the store. Gou followed us, right after he got the clothes we bought at the counter. “ What are you doing here?” I said. Looks like I was really flustered cause he let out a “ Sorry” and said: “ You looked like you need help and I don’t like how those guys are always finding ways to put trouble on you.” He said with a sad but very convincing sad face.  Ba-dump. Huh?? Did my heart just go, Ba-dump?? “ Hey Yuzu, are you okay?” He said after putting his hand on my forehead. Has a reflex, I pushed away his hand and my face was red as a tomato. I LITERALLY couldn’t breathe properly. “ Damn it. I need a Hospital.” I said. “ What! Are you sick?” Said Loki very worried. “ No, no, no, I’m not. I just need some air.” I said to him. “ Oh, okay.” He said. ‘ How cute. He got red as a tomato just from that. I’m just loving his expressions. If someone heard me they would think I’m evil. Hehe.’  

“ Brother, are you okay?” Gou said. I took a few breaths and said: “ Yeah, I am. I-I’m okay now.” I said to him. “ Promise?” He said with a worried face. How could I have such a cute little brother? “ Yeah, promise,” I told him. “ So, when are you two going back to the dorms or…” Loki asked us. Gou and I looked at each other and I said: “ Well, I guess we can window shopping. Do you want to join us?” I said to him. “ Yes, if that’s okay with you,” He said to us. “ Yeah, it’s okay. With that, you and my brother can figure out what’s going on between you two.” Gou said while walking up front. “ H-Huh? W-What do you mean by that?” I said while stuttering on my words. “ Exactly what I meant. You guys are so impossible, it’s hurting my eyes.” He said. “ What the hell do you mean by that? Hey, I’m talking to you. Answer me, damn it. Gou! GOU!” I said while we walk away.

It was about 8 O’Clock P.M., the moon was already up in the sky filled with shining stars. Gou and I were heading towards the Harts Mansion. We were wearing the clothes we bought earlier. The clothes I wore were a blue suit with a white blouse without a tie and a black shoes. Gou wore a dark red suit with a black blouse without a tie, also with black shoes. We arrived at the Mansion and were greeted by the maids and butlers of the house. The mansion was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. Diamond lights suspended from the ceiling, granite floor with abstract pattern, it was the most amazing thing ever! Gou and I were led by some maids to the main floor where all the kids from school were. I saw all the kids in my class except Loki. Where is he? Before asking Gou if he saw him, he already left to talk with his friends. “ That jerk! Leaving me like this. Oh, whatever, let’s go eat and drink something.” I said to myself. I was about to enjoy my drink and food when a hand touched my shoulder. It was Ragi! “ M. Norikura, please follow me. The Master wants to talk to you.” He said to me. “ Huh? Me? Why would he want to talk to me?” I said to him. But he did not answer and just said to follow him. And I did. I mean, the Master of this VERY mansion wants to talk to ME. It’s gotta be important if he wants to talk to a nobody like me.

We arrived at a big brown door. Ragi knocked at the door and I could hear a “ Come in.” at the end of the door. Gulp. I swallowed my saliva and entered in the dark big room. I could hardly see, but then the lights lit up. I couldn’t see at first, but then I saw a man sitting at the desk. I couldn’t tell if he was short or tall, but he had an enormous presence. He was the spitting image of Loki or should I say Loki is the spitting image of his Father? Oh, whatever. And I started to say: “ I heard you wanted to talk to me? May I ask what you wanted to talk about?” I said with a calm voice. He finally took his nose out of those papers in his hand and looked at me. “ So, you’re the boy I’ve been hearing about?” He said. “ What? ...What have you been hearing about me?” I said to him. “ Please have respect when you're talking to the Master, you…” Ragi said. He didn’t have time to finish when I said: “ Peasant? Yes, I know very well I’m a peasant. You don’t have to tell me. And because I'm a peasant, I don’t know how to be respectful.” I said without catching my breath. “ You insolent child. I’ll show you manners.” He said. Ragi was about to hit me when Loki jumps out of nowhere and stop his hand from reaching my face. “ What do you think you're doing, Ragi?” He said to the butler. “ Y-Young master, what are you doing here? I thought you were greeting the guests and your fiancée?” He said to Loki. Ragi quickly took his hand back and stepped away from him. “ This is my house. Do I need a reason to be here?” Loki said. “ N-No, you don’t Young master. Please forgive me.” Ragi said while bowing. Loki turned to his Father and said: “ What do you want with him, Father?” Loki said.

Agnus Harts looked at him and said: “ Just wanted to ask him politely to give back the Red Pheonix earring. That’s all.” Agnus Harts said. “ What?” I said. He pointed at my ear. “ That earring you are leisurely warring is the Harts Family Heirloom.” He said to me. I swear, I don’t know how I look, but I probably had the dumbest face ever made. “ The Red Pheonix earrings have been passed down from generation to generation since our ancestor Madden Harts.” He continued to say. He probably saw the surprised look on my face and said: “ It looks like someone didn’t tell you about it.” He said while looking at Loki. Wait. Why is he… No way. “ Loki show me your ear. Now.” I said to him. “ N-No, It’s fine. You don’t need to,” He said to me. But I didn’t listen. Because of his long but short hair, we couldn’t see his ear. So, I pushed it away and then I saw it, the other half of the pair of earrings. “ No way, don’t tell me you’re… Lou..?” I said…
