Awakening Part 1

In an ancient section of the Amazon forest, an illegal logging company stumbled across ancient forgotten ruins. Unable to claim the find themselves, the CEO of the company found an archeologist working the area, Arthur Anderson, to examine the remains in the hopes of taking claim of any treasures hidden within in exchange for the credit of discovery.
The ruins were dark, an eerie yellow green mist hanging over the area and twisted mutated plantlife climbing up the temple walls. Arthur was beside himself in excitement, noting that the temple showed elements of several different known cultures. It may be one of the very first human civilizations! The logging CEO, Epimethius Eastwood, was disinterested in the value of the ruins themselves, annoyed that they had blocked his company from accessing the nearby gully, thereby costing them money. His only interest was the treasures, which he quickly found.
It soon became apparent that this temple held artifacts of supernatural quality, an orb floating in a green glow illuminating a hidden room. Despite the warnings of Arthur, Epimethius made a b-line to it. His acquiescence of the artifact, which he deemed to be very valuable to the right people, was interrupted by a bizarrely mutated monkey, jumping on the pedestal holding the orb and knocking it to the floor.
Deep within the orb, smaller than any eye could see, a mysterious organism trapped within ice crystals was suddenly jarred as the orb broke apart, the icy interior flooding with the tropical heat outside. Consciousness, then memories returned to to the female virus, and she looked upon he who freed her. The ancient being, hidden safely in the untouched jungle, was released and quickly mutated, taking to the sky to infect the unwary human.

A sequel to Osmosis Jones, plenty of action, romance, mystery and nostalgia. Expect all the characters from the original to return!
