Chapter 3 Part 1
The events of that day had gone smoothly, Lua had been apparently well behaved because the collar never activated once. The Prince was clearly smitten with him and that had made his mother happy. Things were going to work out like they planned, she was going to have to work on a new heir but she had plenty of time. She was surprised at Lua’s intelligence and his quick pick up of etiquette, his teachers were also impressed even though there were some areas he lacked; he was also a fast learner in those places. His worst subject was dancing but that was the most expected of him to be lacking in as no one had ever taught him, there was no need for him to know how to dance in his past either. He’d sorta lied and told his mother it was because he often went into the Library to read and study and that was why he was so smart. It didn’t take long for her to decide to take the collar off, after several uneventful interactions with the prince, it was clear he was not going to tell them anything. But there was still a chance he’d mess up so she gave him a different collar, one that was specifically be-spelled to make sure he never spoke about what they did in their home that was deemed illegal.
Lua knew his family had him watched, even if he didn’t see them, so he didn’t want to risk it, so he’d behave and be a perfect omega son. He vowed once he turned seventeen he’d turn on them in a heartbeat only then there would be nothing they could do to stop him then. The summer went by quickly and he enjoyed his visits with Henri either at his own estate or at the castle, and as promised they had eaten out in the Gazebo in the garden as it was in full bloom, it was just like one of the scenes from the game. Those intrusive thoughts came to his mind sometimes to remind him he was not the main lead of the game, he was an unexpected extra. The real game would start next summer when the De La Cove’s would find the Light magic user amongst their children, they were not a well off family so they hadn’t planned on sending their kids to school except the eldest who would graduate this year.
Lua had to take an entrance exam just like every other student entering that year. He was also excited because he would be able to find his magic aptitude and see his status and in school they would teach him how to use it. He was sure he had earth magic, he could feel the earth when he walked barefoot in the garden at home and at the castle. He also knew that he had Appraisal magic that he found out by accident when he asked in his head what something was and a screen popped up and told him what kind of plant it was and what its use was. The tests were easy for him,to him they had been basic stuff from his old life, but there were things he didn’t understand that had to deal with magic but he answered those the best he could. He also found he was right and his magic lay in Earth and Gravity magic as well as Appraisal magic. He also found that he had a rather large item box and he could now see his own status.
Name: Lua’aZaer Del Monique
Age: 14 Genders: Male Omega Race: Dark Elf
Class: Magic Swordsman Level:12
Magic: Earth, Gravity, appraisal, item box
Skills: Swords, Magic casting via weapon, mana manipulation, mana casting
Titles: The Lost one, ****** Favored Omega, Earth's Embrace
He wondered about those titles, he couldn’t see who favored him or what it did but, he could guess about ‘The Lost One’ being that he wasn’t actually a Del Monique, or maybe it was because he reincarnated here. Earth’s Embrace gave him a boost in power to any earth related spells he used. He might be able to use some other types of magic if he got the right familiar. They would cover that mid semester, he honestly couldn’t wait to find out what he got. Henri, if he recalled, had a small bird that helped him with wind magic though he was more of a water magic user. His sister in the game had a small black weasel that gave her a boost of dark magic. He worried he’d end up with the vile little thing, because in the game it was always lurking and up to no good, she’d often sent it to attack her out of the shadows.
This year he was introduced to most of the characters in the game thanks to Henri who introduced them to him at lunch. He did his best to be polite, but honestly he was quite nervous. Most of them had only allied with Lucinda in the game because of her rank and status as Henri’s fiancee. It was also because she seemed to be the only one who stood up when the Light Magic user was hitting on their own fiance’s. They were all very nice to him he expected it would take him some time to get used to Lidia Del Avalon, Felicia Von Beaumont, and Ivan De La Griffin were the three that took the most interest in him Lidia because they were the same rank and Ivan because they were both male Omegas, and Felicia was already Lidia’s friend since they were kids. His classes were split between first and second years intrigued them as well, he could graduate early if he tried hard enough
Lidia Del Avalon was a pretty humankin Alpha female who was 14 and stood currently at 5’5” with midnight blue hair done in small braids and a half bun, warm brown eyes, and pale white skin, she was also more voluptuous then the others. She was a stunning Alpha female who was always at the forefront of fashion from a young age, it was her passion and appearance that was almost her downfall. Two years ago she was kidnapped. They had been after her beauty and had planned to sell her to another country until they were caught, she almost gave up on her dreams but Evan, her best friend's brother, helped her find the joy in it all again. They were shortly after engaged.
Felicia Von Beaumont was also 14, humankin, and would be very beautiful if she put some effort into it but she was much more interested in Alchemy and like her Omega Mother would rather be in a lab all day. She was an Alpha with soft blue gray eyes, long wavy violet hair that is usually pulled back, and pale skin from being indoors so much. She stood at 5’4” and wouldn’t grow much taller being the smallest of the Alpha females her personality was closer to a shy Omega. She often busied herself working in a lab working on new potions and often had to be dragged out by her Fiance Oliver or her Brother Evan. Lidia also dragged her out as they have been friends since they were four, their parents also being close friends. She is engaged to Oliver Triss Peters, another close friend of their parent’s child.
Ivan De La Griffin was the only other male Omega of the group, he was also 14 and humankin. He had unique shoulder length brown green hair, hazel eyes that were also brown green and heavily freckled tanned skin. He loved to be out in his family garden as much as he liked to be inside reading. He tended to be on the heavier side but it never bothered him. His family grows most of the plants that make up most of the potions made by the Von Beaumont family for everyone. He was engaged to Marcus Von Lucard, an Alpha fox bestman who helped rescue him when he went missing in the woods when he was 8.
Evan Von Beaumont is the Older brother to Felicia at 15 he stands 5’10” with the same violet hair cut short, striking blue eyes, and fair skin. He wasn’t built like a typical Alpha, his strength was in his brain like both of his mothers, but like his Alpha mother he took more interest in politics and history. He was the one who witnessed Lidia being kidnapped and alerted the authorities, he is also the reason why Lidia still loves fashion and hasn’t locked herself away in her room. He is close to Henri and plans on following his alpha mother to become his prime minister. He readily agreed to marry Lidia as he’s always had a crush on her.
Oliver Triss Peters was a very dominant Alpha male humankin. He at 15 already stood 6’ with close cropped blond hair and electric blue eyes and skin the same color as Lua’s. He looked older than he was and was built bigger but he had those long fingers that could do such delicate work. He was a bit of a mechanic creating things and building things based on things that he found interesting. He has been in love with Felicia since they were kids and when their parents told him they were already engaged he was overly happy though he didn’t find out until last year.
Marcus Von Lucard was one of the rare non-humankin noble families; they had been the country's biggest trading companies and still are today. He was of the Fox beastman kin, he had long burnt orange hair with amber eyes and Fox ears as well as a fox’s tail, he was one of the more humankin looking races. He stood at 5’9” and had a more leith body as most of his kin did and he was an Alpha. He happened to have been in the area when Ivan went missing in the woods, using his keener nose he managed to narrow it down where he was but it was his fluffy tail that lured him out. He had never met anyone as peculiar and as kind as Ivan was and over the next few years Ivan tamed him with good food and his love and last year they had been formally engaged.
Roy Viss Thomas was a 15 year old humankin Alpha who stood a 5’10” with short brown hair and green eyes. He was already a Knight and was training to become head of the royal guard, he had a muscular build and was close friends with Henri. He planned on becoming his personal guard before taking up his mother’s role as the head of the guards. He used to spend his days training until a year ago he met his Fiancee for the first time, a young Omega girl named Christina Triss Bailey who despite her instant attraction told him she didn’t like idiots who were more brawn than brain, Lua couldn’t wait to meet her next year.
School was wonderful, he like most of the other’s, lived on campus in dorms so he didn’t have to go home to his parents. Sheena was there to act as his personal maid who was permitted to live with him as she was an Omega. She basically was his escort when he went out and she managed his room, for her this was a wonderful vacation. She also made sure to track his heats and made sure he took his medication every morning. The one thing he enjoyed the most was his time with Henri, the mini dates they had on the school grounds, on weekends they sometimes went out as a group. He was also allowed to sign up as an adventurer, He wasn’t allowed to do dugon’s yet but he could do the gathering quests and assist people around town. Henri often talked about doing some of the small dungeons next year together so they could bond. The thing he found was his favorite part was when Henri took his hand and walked so casually with him, there was always just this warm feeling that raced through his body wherever they did. His mother kept a close eye on him, sending spies to watch him and to listen into his conversations. Not that he cared about it, he knew not to talk about his life before and the things that went on in his house.
