Lua spent the most comfortable four days of his heat ever in the Omega wing of the castle. He was surprised when he met Ivan during meal times that he had also been a victim to whatever it was. The two of them enjoyed talking when their heat wasn’t driving them up a wall. He found Ivan had quite a fondness for books that he also secretly enjoyed. They were the more mature books and with forbidden romance and fated mates, and very spicy scenes. There were the occasional books that weren’t that they enjoyed as well, but this was their secret pleasure reading especially during their heat. Once they were both cleared they were able to leave, Ivan met with Marcus who took him to his family home in the Capital before they went back to their territory, Henri met with Lua and invited him for tea before he returned to the dorms with Sheena, even though the Del Monique territory was only a short carriage ride away he’d not return home for the month long winter break. His family didn’t celebrate the winter holiday, he was pretty sure that they were actually in the underdark hiding away from the joyous celebrations. He’d not tell Henri this but put it off as his family just didn’t celebrate the same Holidays.
“Would you celebrate them with me?” Henri asked, thinking of their future.
“Of course I would, I honestly don’t follow my mother’s detie.” He told him over tea.
“Oh, I’d have thought you would, but I guess you are after all free to choose who you follow.”
“Yes, I am thankful for that.” He told him. “Do they know why or how the four of us went into heat?” He asked, changing the subject.
“Not sure but they blame the spiked cider, it seemed to be the only common denominator.” He told him.
“I see, I hope whoever did it gets a rock in their shoe that they can’t find and have to walk an ile.” He said sternly. Henri laughed.
“You are something else my dear.” He told him.
“Did you at least have a good rest of the night?”
“Not really because I missed you, I’d been hoping for one last dance with you and then taking you safely back to the dorm, but alas my plans were foiled.”
“What are you some sort of villainous prince now?” Lua laughed.
“I could be if you want me to be.”
“I prefer the kind handsome prince, who might be something else in bed, but that’s for older me to find out.” He said turning a bit red, he blamed Ivan for all the filth they talked about.
“I look forward to that day when you are ready.” Henri said, taking his hand gently and kissing it.
“Is it wrong of me not to want our first time to be because of my heat?” Lua asked in a small voice.
“Not at all, but honestly if it’s our wedding day, you heat, or not, I’m sure I’m going to ravage you.” He teased with a wiggle of his brows. He grinned as he watched him go crimson.
“I am glad my heat is over.”
Henri returned Lua to the dorms and promised to visit when he could for Lunch or Tea, which he did. Lua took the quiet time to visit the temple of the God of Creation, his choice of deity, and the Goddess of Earth, who had blessed him, and gave what he could as tribute. He also spent some of the time at the adventurers guild doing low level quests in the city and he started training more with his sword. School taught him magic, but they saw him as a noble Omega and didn’t bother to give him swordsmanship classes. He was already friendly with the guild workers and the teachers, they all liked him because he knew his limits and didn’t try to go beyond them, he just slowly worked on leveling up and learning a proper form for his swordsmanship.
As the rest of the year went on Henri started to do a slow slide away from him once again, promising to meet him for tea just to either not show up or be there with Marissa. At meals he’d sit next to him but mostly be ignored, Marissa had seemed to have turned into the star of their group at least to the boys. When his level of frustration started to get bad he’d go and blow off some steam in the local low leveled dungeons. Lidia had started to join him out of frustration as well, Felicia often requested the two bring her back items for her research. Ivan eventually ended up joining them by the end of the year. He was good with planets as well as Earth magic he was most helpful when they needed to find specific herbs and what not for Felicia who supported them with all sorts of potions. It wasn’t like they had given up it was just they weren’t given much of a choice by their Fiancee’s.
They had forgotten all about things for a short time as they had a busy day in one of the lower leaves dungeons, Felicia had come to help just so she could get some experience so it was the four of them walking in together when they ran into Marissa, Henri, Roy, Evan, Oliver, Martin, Lady Lilia, Marcus, and oddly Arthur were there as one large group. Unlike their small group of four, who looked like adventurers dressed in casual robes and Lua in beat up leather armor with a sword at his hip. They looked like nobles trying to pose as adventure’s. They all had nice new armor and expensive looking weapons but some of them didn’t even look like they knew how to use them. Lua had gotten them to act as if they were commoners, the only thing he suggested they didn’t slack on were their boots, they had to be comfortable and durable. It was the only place he let them splurge a little, they also only used the money they earned to purchase new equipment. He did this so they didn’t stand out, and also so they could get a real sense of what it was like to be a commoner adventurer, it humbled them and they agreed they’d only splurge into their pocket money if something broke. The girls who worked the desk loved them as they all knew who they were, after all they had seen their status when registering. They also let them use the changing room in the back to change out of their school uniform. The Adventures had taken an instant liking to them and if anyone picked a fight with them over the fact they were nobles they would step in on their behalf.
Lady Lilia was one of those unusual cases, she wasn’t a noble but she was a declared Saintess of the goddess of Light despite the fact she couldn’t use light magic. She was humankin Alpha with long silvery blond hair, soft blue eyes, flawless cream colored skin with a massive amount of Holy magic. She stood already at 5’8” at 15 years of age and was Marissa’s biggest supporter.
Opposite of her was Arthur Von Honihime, he was not only an Alpha humankin Duke but he was like the rest of his family a follower of the God of darkness. The God of darkness wasn’t evil, but once upon a time it had been seen that way. He stood at 16 almost 6’ with short black hair and black eyes with chocolate colored skin. He had been in love with Lilia since they grew up in the orphanage together before his family finally found him and brought him home. Rumor was his uncle had declared him still born and had planned on adopting him as his heir after he took over, but had died in an accident four years later without completing his plans. He was an only child because of him.
It was one of those romance games that he once played before he died. "The light magic user is reborn! Now this could only mean that the Demon King is waking up! Raise your levels and find romance with your true love(s)! Multiple endings available try and get 100% complete!" Now reincarnated into a new world as a character not from the series. Lua'Zaer Del Monique an Omega Dark Elf of the Monique Marquis is the brother of the Villainess of the series, but when she dies suddenly under mysterious circumstances Lua has to step into her place by force of his mother. It's a good thing he has his memories of his past life and of the game, but he is not the Light Magic user and he is head over heels in love with the main love interest, The Human Alpha Crowned Prince Henri. This is his new life, and these are real people, he can change to story can't he?
