I love this episode and strongly relate. The by-the-book answers in school often lack so much context and everything is so standardized that it demolishes the beauty and invigoration out of learning. One of the most important lessons I’ve ever learned was not through schoolwork and it was this: There’s never only one right answer to a question. One of the other most important lessons I’ve learned is: Stay true to yourself and give yourself the opportunity to explore who you are, even if you are judged because of it. I think your comic demonstrates both of these lessons beautifully. It’s a shame our teachers didn’t realize the truth in them.
