Eee! Hi, guys! I'm so excited to share this story with y'all! It's actually an assignment that I wrote for my Spring 2022 Capstone Fiction Writing class. The idea is brand-new and is based off a prompt I read in a writing prompt book, The Genre Writer's Book of Writing Prompts and Story Ideas. Fantasy prompt 77: "A hunting expedition goes awry when its organizer reveals they are hunting a mythological beast."

        Evangeline Estiemiéres is a new character, but I already love her! She definitely is my first Fantasy character who has flames in her hair, literally. I thought of the idea when I was thinking about red-headed Fantasy characters. Red = fire. Here we are.

        Anyway, since this is a school assignment, the story is going to be short. And since it's the first draft, it may not be amazing, but I hope that it's good enough to draw an audience towards this new Fantasy story. I may do more with it in the future, if I decide to enter any Open Novella Contests, but we'll see.
