Having traveled back in time to 1925 New York City, Alec gets to work in searching for the locket he was hired to track down. However, after and unexpected encounter with some street thugs and accidentally having a teenage boy witness him doing magic, the sorcerer finds himself with a rather persistent side kick as he just tries to finish the job he was hired to do and get back to the present unscathed.
