Chapter 5

  After school, I went to the cafe again, Kinkay was already on break and was at the table. When he saw me he quickly got up and checked my head where I was hit. Eli, Elly, Blossom, and Ming walk in and sit at the table, they talk and laugh, I remember what happened today and smile my face heating up again.

   “My crush kissed me today,” I say quietly and Elly and Eli quickly get up.

   “Really?! When do we get to meet her?” Eli says happily.

   “Yeah! We can go shopping!” Elly says but Eli scowls at the idea.

  “I don’t know if it’s official, I mean we kissed and confessed but I don’t really know,” I frown slightly but Eli and Elly continue.

   “Then make it official! I want to meet her, especially if she’s your first love and kiss!” I laugh slightly as Eli says that and I see Kinkay laugh as well.

  “Don’t be too shy about it, she clearly likes you,” after Kinkay says that as if it was destiny my phone dings, I read the text.

  Aika: Hey, I wanted to talk about what happened earlier, I know it was kinda out of nowhere so I wanted to make it official, do you maybe want to go on a date? And maybe be mine?

   I feel my breathing stop and I set down my phone, Eli quickly grabs it and screams ‘yes’ extremely loud causing everyone in the cafe to look at us. I just put up my hood to hide my face. Kinkay takes my phone from Eli and laughs a bit, he calls her. 

  “Hello?” the sound of her voice makes my face heat up again.

  “Hey, this is Kinkay.”

  “Oh, yes, Yua has told me about you,” I bury my face more.

  “She has? That’s interesting, well I called to tell you Yua’s answer, she’s currently hiding,” he laughs a bit and I hear a small laugh from Aika as well. He turns on the camera so that they are face-timing now, he turns the phone to face me. 

  “H-hi Aika,” I say and give a small wave to the camera, she’s smiling and laughs a bit.

   “Want to tell Aika your answer, Yua?” Eli says, still laughing. I bury my face again and Aika laughs more.

  “M-my answer is y-yes,” I mumble and look back up to the camera, Aika is blushing and she smiles calmly.  I smile back shyly and the others cheer but Ignore them happy that she and I are finally together.
