However, misfortunate strikes when an unexpected, low-grade mission is brought to Alucard and Seras' attention. Despite being minor enough to leave to the soldiers that were dispatched, Alucard insists upon taking the opportunity to stretch his shadowy limbs after nearly a decade of stillness.
Teased for her overprotectiveness, Seras is reminded of an earlier birthday on another cold winter night during a very uncertain time. ⌋
