eyes, as wide as pancakes, and were barely even breathing.

Yin and Yang gave each other a look that was saying: “So

it's finally happening!”

Lin: “Show me a map of this world!”

Yang tossed a small silver sphere to Yin, who caught it

with one hand, and squeezed. It opened in the middle,

displaying a 3D holographic map of Earth, floating a few

inches above her hand. The planet that Lin saw, was very

different, from the one she knew:

Lin: “In my time, though we have a sea level rise of

several meters, it is nothing like this. All of the known

continents here, are so much smaller. And here, this one.

We call it Antarctica, here it is not only smaller, but it's

also green. And there are no ice caps on this map!”

Yin: “Yes, for the past ten thousand years, give or take a

few hundred, Earth was covered in ice, but it has finally

melted. There is vegetation everywhere, and our

conservation program, is finally flourishing. We have more

babies than ever before, and all the planetary animals, are

living in a balance, proving to the other Starisis, that peace

is possible.”

Lin: “It won't last. Where I am from... No. When, I am

from, it's well known, that at the end of the last Ice Age,

comets struck Earth, triggering a sudden drop of

temperature, followed by a massive extinction level event,

known as the “Younger Dryas Period”. In my time, the

only dinosaurs people can see, are the ones excavated, and

put on display in museums.”

At her words about the future, everyone else in the

room, had a perplexed look on their faces. But only a

minute had passed in silence, and Attar and Yin now knew,

that the consequences of the upcoming event, would be far

worse, than anything they could imagine. There was no

time to waste. It would take them, about a year to gather

the necessary materials alone, then another two years, to

build enough Vimanas. Given the time-table, not all

species would be saved. Only one thing wasn't adding up:

Orion: “Meri, how long do people in your time, usually

live up to?” he said with eyes now focused on Lin.

Lin: “Around eighty, but we have a few hundred year

olds, around the world as well. Why?”

Orion to Attar: “Do you think...”

Attar: “It has to be. We knew, it was only a matter of

time, before they returned. But I never suspected, that they

would stoop so low.”

Yang: “To defeat my most hated enemy, yet still hold

up to the treaty? It's what I would do.”

Yin: “Ooh! My beautiful creations!” “Sob! Sob!”

Lin: “Mmmm?!?!” she looked to the girls for answers,

but they only shrugged their shoulders.

Attar: “Well, the good news is, we know what their

goal is in advance.”

Orion: “Do you have enough to build them?”

Attar: “Yes, they will be ready within a year.”

Orion: “Good, but we will have to wait, until the last

moment, or they will get suspicious.”

Lin: “HEY!!! WHAT'S GOING ON?!”
