I wish we got more insights into Jon’s thoughts about what Tim did during the Unknowing, but I thought I’d share a bit of my own headcannons. What can you think when someone who was once your friend murders you on his quest for revenge?
This is very good. First of all, the entire concept and art style. Like yeah I can see Martin putting his stuff on the back burner for Jon and purposely not solving his problems so he doesn’t have to leave, and the way he snapped. Also train therapy is soooo good. The way you portray the tense silences is amazing as well.
But that’s general stuff. For this page specifically I like that you 1) held Jon accountable for the perceived circumstances. Because when he did all that, he thought it was Sasha, whether or not it was is irrelevant 2) how what current Jon says fits Tim’s conversation 3) YES! People are always like Tim died for nothing when some of his last words were literally saying he didn’t care if the world ended as long as he got to kill her. He died doing exactly what he meant to. 4) the fact it didn’t give him closure, it just gave him something to think about. Like not everything is wrapt up in a bow, sometimes you just need a pickaxe to get to the bottom of something.
They thought it was the End. Turns out, they're not Somewhere Else just yet...
Jon and Martin wake up, certain they were facing death, only to find themselves alive, with mysterious numbers on their hands, and the request to bring them down. The train is designed to help passengers with their problems and promote growth, but things between Jon and Martin run deeper than even the train understands, and their history isn't the only thing that followed them onboard...
