As Cole bolted through sidewalks and crosswalks while dodging cars, determined to not miss another class.
[Cole]: Ack!
Cole yelled as he tripped on a obvious rock but was to distracted to see it. He stumbled on to a confused Ace and Bam!
[Cole]: oww... oh! I'am so sorry
Cole apologized even more when he thought he made Ace cry, due to Ace's red eyes and teary eyes.
[Ace]: No I-
Ace paused as he saw Cole's scraped knee and couldn't help but feel bad.
[Ace]: Would you like me help you, it looks pretty bad
Ace politely offered knowing it would get infected if not cleaned.
[Cole]; Sorry... I can't, I'm going to be more late than I ready am.
Cole said trying to be persistent while trying to ignore the pain. Cole got up a tried to walk away but he was stopped by Ace.
[Ace]: Nope, I need to take a look
Ace sounded very egerd to help, Cole had never had anyone to care for him so this weird feeling came and he didn't know how to feel so he stared at Ace and sat down.
[Ace]: I'll be right back, stay here
Cole nodded back, Ace ran inside to get his aid box he has in his room while feeling embarrassed of what he just said and did without thinking. He managed to find the box and ran to help this random stranger, but the stranger was gone nothing there but ten dollars, he didn't even get a name.
Colen and Atlas were best friends at the start of middle school. Unsuspectingly, when they began to fall apart due to harsh arguments in their high school years, they let it happen, and soon enough, Atlas moved away. Neither had seen the other in years. One day, Colen felt a familiar gaze, one that he'd rather forget.
