Every blood moon a monster from the woods enters the village at its edge. And unless the village gives up a sacrifice before the blood moon comes, only carnage will remain. The people of the village argue over who should be sent into the woods, too scared to go themselves. Until a sick child decided that they should go. Hoping to protect the ones they held dear, the only ones they had left.
