I wonder if the age of the tree is equal to the age of the elf; that tree is HUGE, and we know August lived to be very old. Like, if a very young elf died, would their tree be a sapling? If so, is the implication that the elves continue their lives as trees (as opposed to a tree just sprouting from their body)? Are all elf trees the same species of tree? I'm so curious about lore
