Lesson 2: Newton's Second Law of Motion (The Law of Acceleration)

In our previous adventure, we learned about the first law of motion. We also learned that When forces balance each other out, mechanical equilibrium occurs. In this adventure, we are going to explore what happens to an object’s motion when there are unbalanced forces acting on the object.

Investigate the relationship between the amount of force applied and the mass of the object to the amount of change in the object’s motion. (s8fe-Ia15)

State and explain the law of Acceleration.
