As I wrap up the second year and head to the third year of the comic, I am consciously trying to improve at everything. That includes backgrounds, and I'm trying out different things regarding them.

Just as per the last year's pages, or all the existing pages to begin with, not every page will be a masterpiece and some of them I would dearly love to go back and fix. But I do intend to make this year's pages look way better than the pages of last year.

This page is one very exact descriptor of that, because I looked up SO many references for the sitting poses, and spent actually quite formidable amount of time on those alone. As the scene here is important, I felt that it was warranted to make it look cinematic, and by all aspects, a bit better than the pages I usually draw, to give it the look it deserves.
