“Do you have everything? We still have some boxes in the living room that
don’t have a label.” Madalena looked into her son’s room with a box in her
hands “Oh, if you still want to have a table we can see if we can find one that
is smaller than your old one.” “No, it’s fine and I’m only missing a few
books.” Jack turned to face his mother “Do you want help with that?” Madalena
smiled and put the box down “No need, it’s only pictures that I’m going to make
your pater put up.” “Okay but just say if you need help with anything.” “Jack
I’m not that old I can move a few boxes by myself just fine. Now go see if you
can find those books.” Jack nodded and went downstairs.
Downstairs were about five boxes without labels it was
probably his dad who packed them, he is always more focused on his phone
because of his work.
Two of the boxes were already open but his books were not inside them.
Jack sat down on the floor to look through one of them and he found books but
not the ones he was looking for, these were cooking and baking books so he
moved on to the next box and in this one were the books he was missing. It was
his collection of fantasy books some written by humans and some not. Jack finds
it fun to read how humans think vampires and other supernatural beings behave
in their normal life. And he likes to point out when he finds a mistake, like
how a lot of humans seem to think only werewolves have mates, when in reality every
supernatural being have mates, some races just treat it differently.
