Soma walked, weaving his way through all the people blocking the corridor. He stopped at his locker and opened it, pulling out a few books. Suddenly, the locker door swung shut and made a loud bang, he jumped in a flinch, stumbling back and nearly knocked over some short kid, the kid put his middle finger up as he walked away in annoyance, Soma rolled his eyes and ignored the gesture, "Morning Soma" His friend called from next to him. This was one of his friends he'd made before the death of his uncle however since then he hadn't made an effort to really talk to anyone else apart from the friends he already had. This was Amy, she loved to wind him up and annoy him because she thinks his reactions are 'priceless', Amy had long, black hair down to her hips, and a pair of beautiful blue eyes.
"Will you stop that, you do it every morning", Soma rolled his eyes, opening his locker back up, grabbing the things he needed.
"It's funny tho", Amy said laughing.
"Really funny that", Soma said smiling sarcastically. "Where's George, he's usually stuck to you like flies to shit," Soma Stated as they started down the corridor to the cafeteria were they usually met everyone.
"Dunno and no he isn't we just happen to hang out a lot so he's always seen with me", Amy said in defense with a huff. George had pale blue eyes and bright blonde hair, he was half Swedish, he was the tallest of the group and was like a giant compared to the rest of them, he had a thing for Amy and everyone knew it apart from her, she wasn't the observant type. As they entered the cafeteria they were instantly hit with loud chatter and girls probably fan girling over some crappy musician or boy band.
"Why do we have to meet here every day", Soma said annoyed, "Its so loud all the time, why can't we meet outside in the field or in the library", Soma grumbled.
"You're in a moany mood today", a voice called from behind them. They turned, it was Zenón. Zenón had brown curly hair and wore glasses that were way to big for him, he had beautiful brown eyes but terrible eyesight, his eyesight was so shitty that even the ophthalmologist had no idea what to do with him.
"Morning to you to", Soma said annoyed by his comment.
"Morning Zenón," Amy chirped smiling brightly. They made it to the table and sat down, Soma slouched over onto the table and sighed.
"What's up with you today" Mariana asked, rolling her eyes waiting for a crappy response or a scolding. Mariana was Spanish, she'd moved to Kyoto when she was 4 years old, she had bright blue eyes and she'd dyed her short hair a teal colour while they were off for the holidays.
"Well for starters...", Soma waffled on for about 5 minutes moaning and groaning about small, stupid stuff that happened on his walk here which had annoyed him.
"Geez sounds rough", George said sarcastically as he sat down at the table opposite Amy, Soma lifted his head of the table and gave him the middle finger.
"Blasted", Mariana laughed, punching George in the shoulder.
"How long until the----bell...", Amy was interrupted mid question by the exact thing she was asking about.
"Did that answer it for you", Zenón laughed. Everyone got up and walked to class, Soma let out another sigh.
"Today will be a good day I can feel it", Amy smiled brightly, patting him on the shoulder.
"I fuckin' hope so", Soma threw his arms around her and hopped on her back. "Piggyback!" He shouted, laughing. "onwards my steed!", He patted her head.
"Yes my lord", She said in a strange attempt at an English accent.
"Today might just be nice", Soma though to himself.
After the death of his uncle 4 years ago, Ryuuji Soma has been gloomy and withdrawn from his family and friends since, usually staying shut away in his room until he had to go to school the next day. Until he meets the new transfer student, a hyperactive boy named Fujio Yuuto who just won't give up on becoming his friend, and progressively more than that, the story focuses on high school kids dealing with love and new feelings they develop.
