Much of the research done for this episode was taken from a variety of interviews over Daniel Inouye's lifetime. Many Japanese American's fought hard and sacrificed much to join the U.S. army and fight the Axis. Even though the U.S. government passed Executive Order 9066 creating the 442nd Battalion, it was not an simple path for the Japaneseto the battlefield. Please comment with your questions below.
This is going to be awesome.
The art is stunning, as always.

This story needs to be told and Mr Takei is going to love it.
Keep up the great work, Eli
Follow the Japanese American 442nd Regiment as they fight through Europe during WWII, while Japanese American families remained unduly incarcerated in US Internment camps. The 442nd is the most decorated unit in U.S. Military History earning over 18,000 awards over a 2 year period.
The story is illustrated with a traditional blend of watercolor and mixed media using graphite, pen and inks, watercolor and gouache.
