A man with a glasses that wore a business suits with a briefcase enters the room with a human-sized robot wearing an armor .

The man was polite and shows a demeanor of a professional businessman .

“I’m glad to have an opportunity to meet with a famous person that have saved lives . It is a pleasure to meet you , Hero .”

The glasses man around the age of 40 reach out his hands to shake with Zenonias .

To be honest I’m not really comfortable with this kind of hero stuffs … ever since I’ve woken up , my family , siblings , and even on the news I was suddenly being called a hero , not that I’ve done much , more like just being a local person that save local citizens .

Hero is a term that being used when someone have saves lives . Unlike Awakener which saves lives on a daily basis , Awakeners are being pay handsomely both by taxes and also by the loot they got from monster . Hero is different though they save lives , the term “Hero” are used for people that doesn’t associate with any guilds so they won’t get pay by taxes , the most simple way to explain it are people that saves lives but doesn’t get paid . It doesn’t matter whether or not they are Awakeners or not .

Unlike normal Awakeners that promotes their guilds whenever they were on the media , Hero mostly just saves people like a charity work so many times they would just rejects any sort of payment .

The first time the Hero terms were being used are because the appearance of The Hero Of Truth . During the rises of Awakeners , lots of Awakeners that already have knowledge they got from The Book Of Ancient they possessed finds lots of opportunity to make money . That’s right , taxes are increases in order for the government to fund Awakener .

No one would risk their life without any rewards , they said . Normal citizens got no choice but to comply to the new rules . Though many of them were unsatisfied to the increases of the cost of living .

During those hard time , that was also the beginning of a new movement which The Rises Of Hero . Awakener or not , as long as they are people that does great deeds without hoping for any sort of rewards , they are what the people call hero . Pretty selfish terms in my opinion , but those citizens at the time doesn’t have any way to pay them back , that way they would call those people Hero in order to differentiate them from normal Awakeners who got paid by the government .

Those movement are only possible due to the selflessness of The Hero Of Truth , then many much more great people follow his leads . Though he did have a guild which is The Guild Of Truth , that guild itself are the foundation of The Rises Of Hero , unlike most guilds that either took over the government or being absorbed by the government , The Guild Of Truth doesn’t associated with any of it and focus solely on doing good deeds .

How do they got money ? Based on my research , the previous guild master (before The Hero of Truth) himself fund the whole guilds with his own hard earned money . Not sure how long have the guilds been established , just like how The Book Of Ancient were being preserved outside the public knowledge , guilds also exist even before the Seals Of The Abyss start broken .

In order to be ready to fight with monsters of the Abyss , a whole group of practitioner are needed , to manage those practitioner , money and funds are also needed .

That said , Hero aren’t that special terms in this age . Once that so called Hero got recruit by guilds or some large corporations or anything , they will no longer be called Hero or got the public support . That’s why I see it just as a scam nowadays . People wanted to live easy , to make their life easier , the so called Hero are needed , people that saves their life without any cost . Who doesn’t like free stuff ?

That said , there are also privileges comes with the Hero term such as this situation I have right now . In my cases , Olympus Guild and some guilds are probably taking notice of me by analyzing my data . And now in front of me are giant business corporation that probably wanted to monopolize a potential Awakener .

Unlike normal Awakener , which associated with public guilds and got paid using taxes money . Awakener which are working with business corporations are paid based on contracts and salaries being agreed on . Which they called Private Awakener , which also works separately than normal Awakener that focused on sealing cracks . Any works they’re done involves in making profits for the company . No profit , no work .

This is reality , nonetheless . Human greed knows no bound . Well that just what it takes to be a human in the first place . Creatures that are driven by their own self-interest .

In the end , either you being use or you use them . The choice all yours . In the end you can’t blame them for getting ended up being consumed by their greedy schemes , such things won’t happen if you aren’t so ignorant on how the world work .

Moreso a lunatic like me , hates being control more than anything . I guess I was normal in the first place , being a lunatic itself are a decision that I’ve made . Or rather the only best decision that I could make .

I reaches out my hands to the man to shake his hand .

“100 million dollars , that’s at least what I should get for raising the company stocks .”

Zenonias with a confident smile held tight the man’s hand .

The glasses man in suit was shocked by the respond he got from Zenonias .

In his entire career of dealing with clients , he could know for sure that this man in front of him are not what you would call normal . In his life , the company itself will make sure that they won’t overpay people but they also won’t pay them for what they worth correctly . All to make sure the company would profit more .

But this man in front of him , were able to deduced his possible worth for the company … incorrectly . Though there might be a possibility for him to achieve those kind of worth if he was some kind of crazy strong Awakener is what he thought . But just becoming the cause raising the company stock , won’t give you 100 million dollars .

The glasses man was baffled by the absurdity of the young man .

“A-ahem , th-that would be hard for the company to do so .”

The glasses man replied while trying to keep his composure .

“Is that so , then our talks will ends here .”

Zenonias make a gesture to shoo them away .

The glasses man in suit were shocked once more by the events . In his entire life , he never deal with this kind of person . Most people he met , made a complete 360 whenever they learnt a big company wanted to reward them or gift them . They would treated him with respect , hoping for their relationship would last by the first meeting , that so both side would get a benefits from it .

Even most Awakener that he have recruited would treated him with respect . This young man in front of him , not only he is not an Awakener , he also treated him rudely . If not only because of his duty , to see the worth of the young man for the company , he won’t let himself take this kind of treatment .

“What are you doing ? Go out , don’t waste my time .”

Zenonias continued with his rude remarks .

Veins forming and showed at the forehead of the glasses man , as he could not handle the disrespect he got from the young man .

“Are you sure , you wanted to reject us , today we bring you our newest inventions , the world first most intelligent A.I robot that can do anything that you order it .”

The glasses man with a forced smile holding his anger , tried to convince Zenonias .

“This thing here ? Hmm … it looks awfully familiar …”

Zenonias taking every crook of the robot .

“Ah ! The one from the sh*tty game ! Nah I don’t want this , piece of junks , it definitely awakens bad memories .”

Zenonias looking as he figured out the robot design have the same similarities with the unit that he failed to get on the gacha game he played .

The glasses man could not hold his anger , not only their latest inventions were being insulted , the game which they poured their whole heart to develops were also being dismissed by the young man . He could no longer hold his anger and decided to walk away from that room without causing any scenes as it would damage their company image .

But as he walk towards the door , he suddenly got a calls .

“H-hello boss …”

The glasses man greets his superior with an anxious voice .

“How’s the deal ? Did you able to see the young man’s worth ?”

A deep dry voice could be heard .

“Boss , a-about that …”

The glasses man nervously replied .

“I don’t need your piece of junks , for a company that worth trillion aren’t even willing to pay 100 million .”

Suddenly on the right side of the glasses man , Zenonias suddenly interrupted their conversation .

“Gah ! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’RE SAYING !!! Ah sorry , excuse me sir … this man have been rude to me since I came in .”

The glasses man were shocked by Zenonias and starts complaining to his superior .

“Hahahahaha !”

The man on the calls suddenly burst into laughter .

“Hahahahahahaha !”

Zenonias also followed the laughter .

“Hahahahahaahhah !”

“Hahahahaahhahahaha !”

Both of them keeps laughing like a mad man leaving people that saw them in confusion .

“You’re pretty good young man . You got my attention , I can see that you will be worth my time . Mark , I will go there personally . Be on stand by .”

The man stops laughing and gives order to his subordinate .

“Wh-wha but sir .”

The glasses man were baffled by the sudden decision .

“Teleporting from America to Neo-SEA will only take a few minutes . I look forward on meeting someone that makes a straight man like you lost your composure .”

The man on the calls seems to get excited .

“I will receive you sir .”

The glasses man quickly leave the room to greet his superior leaving the human-sized robot in the room .

Zenonias that were left , also have an anticipation on his face . While waiting for them Zenonias start checking on the robot , as if he was some sort of a kid wanting to play with his toy despite calling it a piece of junks in front of the glasses man …
