- Having the "bad playthrough" character on the main cast was always in the plan. Thought about what an egotistical fantasy villain would wear in our day and age, the old suit and tie works just fine. The slenderman vibe somewhat took shape from there, and that led to its own neat developments.
- "Artemis" was very, quite early in the creative process. As a kid, I always found it funny that Artemis Fowl was a boy but Artemis is a goddess. So I decided that if I ever make a character, I would correct that. Stupid child logic, but you know. I made it a surname in the end so it didn't even matter anyway.
