Appearance: Goblins to Vist eyes have short ears with several points. They also tend to have wrinkles across their noses and yellowish or orangeish skin. In full goblin form, both male and female goblins look very similar and are generally short, bald, and covered in yellowish or orangeish skin.
Abilities: Goblins have a knack for seeing glimpses of the future for certain objects (not for people). Many goblins go into R&D or similar careers because they can use their abilities to help figure out how to make an object better or avoid certain outcomes. Goblins are very technically minded and are more likely to go into science, medicine, or engineering type careers, although they often don’t have the patience to deal with people and aren’t as likely to practice medicine as to go into research. Goblins do not have active magic and are fairly harmless in battle, and while they are usually very smart, they tend to use their minds for science and not martial skills, so they also likely aren’t helpful in planning battles.
Goblins do not have hearth magic.
Alignment: Goblin magic is neither light nor dark magic. Goblins are not generally associated with any particular supernatural species, but they sometimes get along well with elves, since both are able to make small, intricate objects.
Lifespan: Goblins usually live around 150-175 years.
Personality: Goblins tend to be hyper focused on their tasks, but can be easily distracted with new knowledge. They are usually hard workers and very bright, but they cannot always relate easily to people who are not on the same intellectual level as them.
Known hybrid variants: No true hybrids. Goblins may have hybrid children who are the other parent’s species but with either increased intelligence and/or an ability to see glimpses of the future.
