Great choice to jump ahead in time a bit. I really enjoy the new look of Michelle/Mike! When the reporter starts to charge his magic or whatever, it gets a little bit lost in the background. It doesn't super stand out, though if it's meant to be subtle, then I think it's great! Great escalation of the threat and the importance of the box in the final page.
