Self-insert OC on another Level

I really wanted to have a witch OC with such hair and being otherwise totally mediocre....
I did have a pink undercolor in my hair before but never with short hair and
ngl love this hairstyle!
I also have seen a bunch of hate towards young artists who make self-insert OCs, and I kinda don't get why, like ok it's cringy but I have yet to see an artist who didn't have one really cringy OC back in the days...so why not let the young artists just have their fun ...
