I step out and call Carson. I asked him to look into Felix’s capture. I don’t want to worry Felix with this, but it seems really strange that the people who captured him were up in northern Idaho, since they normally just prowl around these parts, so I asked Carson to look into it. “Hey Carson, what’s up,” I say when he answers.
“Not much, did you have a nice little nap, practically squishing you little kitty. You two were pretty cute in there all cuddled up earlier,” He teases.
“Oh, shut up. Felix said that you wanted to talk to me, so talk before I hang up on you and go back to my adorable, snuggly kitten.”
By the time he was done talking, I was so mad, I heard the casing of my phone groaning with how tightly I was holding it. Just a little more pressure and I would shatter it. “I need to know who he is. As much as I don’t want to worry Felix, I am going to have to ask about him. See if you can find anything more about him. Thanks for letting me know, bye.” I end the call abruptly and let out a huge breath of air. I am trying to calm down before I go back in, because I don’t want to freak Felix out by me being angry, but it’s really hard. Why would someone intentionally send people after Felix? And who is this Leo guy? I pace around for another few minutes before I can muster the courage to go back in. When I walk in, I see Felix curled up on the bed. At first, I think he is asleep, but he blinks sleepily at me when the door closes noisily behind me. “I don’t want to worry you, but I need to talk to you about something.”
