She drifted in her sleep. Struggling to resurface to the present, her mind fell into a deep sleep. She was in the Great Future dreams, which she had never had before. She felt her limbs give up on exhaustion, falling by her side. A clear image flashed in her mind as she sank into the dream.
The image was horrible. On a battlefield, blood was everywhere. Then she saw her future self. A tall elegant elf lady, blasting fire at the fighting soldiers. It was a war. Suddenly, her future self-backed away. A green natural light ignited. It was a girl with dyed green pixie hair, along with black hollow-like eyes. The two started to fight. Her future won. The green pixie-like girl lay among the dead, blood flooding around her.
Another scene then came into view. She had a ridiculous crown on her head, pitch black. She was a queen. But an evil one.
Shaking horribly, Ashwa awoke. She was still in Dunce’s cottage, thank goodness. The different thing was everybody was gone. Where had they gone? Did they just run away. Or they left her here…Alone?
But her mind was cleared from worry as soon as everyone appeared at the doorway. Dunce’s lips turned into a twisted smile, filled with worry.
“Am I…?” she flattered.
“Yes.”
“Am I going to, you know…Kill people?”
“Yes.”
Her icy cold fingers trembled with fear.
“But you needn’t worry, for we are going to teach you to control. Starting tomorrow, you’ll be my student of magic,” Dunce said, smiling a little.
“Really?” said, her eyes shone with hope.
“Really,” was all the master could reply. Filled with hope for a brighter tomorrow, and a better day. But would this be that easy? No, of course not. Because things were going harder than ever.
