Ah, the old, "check out this character that will be important later in the plot but I don't have a design for them yet or they have reasons that they aren't with the hero already or something along those lines" technique. The most anime of tropes. I bet they are super powerful too. Like, the heroine's like, "Huphup. Imma herbalist. Check out ma herbs" and the new character is like, " Oh yeah, I can MAKE herbs CANCER OR THE EQUIVALENT IN THIS UNIVERSE" and everyone's like "craaaaaaap. Sheissocooliwantobelikethischarcterandhavetheseamazingpowerscanyoubemysenpai senpai-san." I'm tired. I'm gong to bed. After finishing more chapters of JoJo Part 6.
