Guess what?
When writing the script for this part, I wanted to take away a lot of the meticulous parts of the game and simplify it for this webcomic. In order to obtain the toolbox in the game, and therefore unlocking the new area, you have to talk to everyone in town and gather food for Bo, the carpenter we meet in this part. I instead took the opportunity to introduce an important character: Renee! She is on lunch delivery for Bo, and we get to move the story along a lot faster.
It's a lot of fun for me to plan stories like this! Does anyone else out there love planning out story details like me? 😊
