A swarm of bystanders began to crowd the body from shock. What they saw turned them from curiosity to fear. Mina began to slowly—but surely—raise herself off the ground, one knee at a time. Her vision was hazy and blurred. She could barely make out the face of the many civilians surrounding her.
Even before her eyes recalibrated, she knew something wasn’t right. She could feel it. Mina could feel something cold, and heavy across her entire left arm. When her vision came back, she was in complete horror from the mere sight of it.
Her arm looked like a monstrosity from hell. Covered in an armor-like formation, was a smooth—yet sharp— black, metallic material. The same material from her fingertips.
Looking like an infection beyond comprehension, the crowd began to nervously walk back, giving her space. Soon enough, a police car and ambulance arrived. Two cops sprint to the wreckage, while the medical professionals begin to help the woman from the damaged vehicle, and begin to exit the scene.
As soon as the two officers arrive, they begin to pull their weapons, while one tells her to lower her weapon. From pure confusion, Mina begins to tell them that this terrifying mutation of some sort, is not a weapon. Though, knowing they have no idea what is happening, she grows annoyed, and begins to walk away. Unfortunately, that route wasn’t the greatest, as one of the officers opens fire, causing a bullet to ricochet off of her armored shoulder.
The bullet knocks her balance off, but causes no harm. The crowd around them begins to gasp in awe as they see no damage done to her.
Mina begins to grow tired of being impacted by things. The cops begin to close in on her, giving Mina no choice. She backhands one of the officers, sending him flying into the door of a nearby parked vehicle. The crowd shrieks in horror and runs as they see a man bleeding from his head on the street.
The other cop, seeing this, quickly aims his gun at her, but before he can shoot, Mina grabs the gun—still being held by the officer—and begins to crush it. Out of pure anger, she pulls the gun from his hand, violently throwing it to the side, and with the same arm, begins to grab his entire hand, and begins to squeeze. The officer cries out in pain as Mina crushes the bones inside his hand. She releases to see his hand is a mangled mess, as he falls to his knees, yelling in pure agony.
Ignoring him, she leaves the entire scene, hoping that no more trouble comes her way. Though even so, she’s confident that they won’t pose too much of a threat.
